Holbein-Gymnasium is a grammar school with about 1250 pupils, some 44 % girls.
About 110 teachers teach in 30 classes (year 5 - 10) and in sixth form courses (year 11 - 12).

From September 2003 Holbein-Gymnasium offers two branches of study:

• Foreign Languages (SpG)
• Science and Technology (NTG).

Both branches start with English as first foreign language.
